Vintner Robert C. Fisher
 |
Born and raised in the Mayacamas Mountains that separate the Napa and Sonoma
Valleys, Robert certainly qualifies as a California native. However, Rob was
quickly drawn to the East Coast for both prep-school and college, graduating
with a BS in Economics from Duke University. After spending his first
post-collegiate year with Thomas Weisel Partners in San Francisco, Rob again
moved east to New York to further pursue a career in finance. In 2001 Rob joined
the Rothschild Group to focus on mergers and acquisitions, as well as Chapter 11
corporate restructurings. While at Rothschild, Rob focused on work in the
entertainment, gaming, telecommunications and industrial sectors.
In July 2004 Rob joined Fisher Vineyards, the family business founded in 1973 by
his parents, Fred and Juelle Fisher. Having since developed general management
responsibilities as a Partner, Rob works closely with all aspects of business
development, vineyard management, wine production, sales and marketing. Now back
in his hometown, Rob is an active community participant serving as a member of
the Board of Trustees of Sonoma Country Day School.
