Chef David Beier



Chef David Beier has been pursuing his culinary dream for over 40 years. In the early 1970’s Chef Beier pursued training with European chefs in top restaurants from Manhattan to the west coast. In the early 1980’s, Chef Beier was able to purchase the historic, century-old Walloon Lake Inn. With his own restaurant, he was able to introduce many of the culinary traditions that we now take for granted in Northern Michigan. The goal of providing Northern Michigan with an elegant, eclectic and regional cuisine has become the trademark of Chef Beier and his experienced staff at the Wallooon lake inn.
